WORKSHOP DIRECTOR: Eunice Victoria Scarfe has been a teacher of memoir and fiction since finishing her MA in Creative Writing in 1990. She designed the first Women's Summer Writing Week at the University of Alberta in 1994, now nearing its 20th anniversary. She is director of Saga Seminars through which she offers consultation and workshops for women writers across North America (www.sagaseminars.com). Her prize-winning short stories have been widely published in anthologies and literary magazines since The Five O'Clock Train first appeared in Best Stories in Canada in the 1980s.
