Join us for IWWG's annual summer conference. This year our conference will be in Philadelphia at Chestnut Hill College and will feature over 70 workshops, critiques, open mics, performances, and awards. Chestnut Hill College is located at the northwestern edge of Philadelphia, on 45 acres overlooking the Wissahickon Creek, The college opened in 1924 as a four-year, liberal arts college for women. In 2003, the 78-year-old College for Women became the School of Undergraduate Studies. The campus is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The campus grounds include a grotto and fountain, the House of Loretto, and an elegant main chapel that was inspired by Sainte-Chapelle in Paris. Logue Library, and Fitzsimmons hall (residence) are relatively new additions located next to Fournier Hall, a jewel of Italian Romanesque architecture.
