Fact, Fiction, and Hope about Grants for Writers

Grants come with lots of misinformation while at the same time offering opportunity nobody seems to see. C. Hope Clark with is noted for understanding the grant world, and via her twenty-year-old newsletter, she keeps up with the latest grants available. During this presentation, Hope will enlighten you as to the myths, facts, and hope of obtaining grants of all shapes and sizes. From university fellowships to simple author grants, from crowdfunding to nonprofits, she explains the different types of grants, your odds of achieving them, and how best to obtain them.

Hope Clark spends half her time penning award-winning mysteries (Edisto Island Mysteries, Carolina Slade Mysteries, and Craven County Mysteries), and the other half offering resources to fellow writers via and its newsletter to 28,000 writers. She also freelances, most recently for Writer’s Digest and Writer’s University. /
